While, technically it was "down" to Fergus Falls from Cormorant, it took nearly eleven hundred feet of climbing to get there. I've only been to Minnesota twice before, but I don't recall lots of hills? Since it was a short 41 miles today, they were tolerable though. And, they provided some scenic views.

Tomorrow will be a rest day, so I will take in the sights around Fergus Falls, and then ride the Minnesota Central Lakes Trail Saturday. It is one of several converted railways in Minnesota converted to bike paths.
You should run for the office in case you need a job when this saga is over!
ReplyDeleteThe converted rail beds are much flatter and were specifically designed for recumbent use. Road bikes are allowed, but you can never look as cool as someone on a bent with a flag attached to the back. :)
ReplyDeleteYou should grow a goatee.
ReplyDeletegoatee would look good!
